The Cynosure Elite revolutionary new laser system that has revamped the industry. It blends a combination of gold standard wavelength technology and Intense Pulsed Light capabilities to address unwanted hair removal, the treatment of pigmented lesions, redness, wrinkles, facial and leg veins, and photodamage.
The Cynosure Elite works by targeting the hair follicle at the root. The special laser light-beam can differentiate between the color of the skin and the dark hair follicle. Once the light is absorbed by the pigment, the follicle is damaged at the growth site. Not only removing the unwanted hair but damaging it enough to slow future growth as well. It may not be permanent but it is very close to it; hair can be gone from months to years at a time.
The Elite’s multiplex design makes it easier to treat all types, tones and textures. Perfect for fair-skinned patients as well as dark-skinned patients. Those in the middle have the toughest time, and our staff offers a combination of each setting.

Treatments are virtually painless and will vary from patient to patient. Patients describe a range of sensations during treatment from tingling to the snapping of a rubber band.
Treatments can take from just 5-60 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.
A series of 3-6 treatments is recommended for optimal results but every patient is different. Work with your provider to develop a plan that is right for you!
You can expect to see a gradual decrease in the hair thickness and in the amount of hair present. In addition, you may also see a decrease in stubble, rashes and ingrown hairs!
